Scholarship Compass ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

What we collect

We don't require you to register an account. The site is fully readable without logging in. We collect:

• Analytics: Google Analytics 4 records anonymised usage data (page views, time on page, country, device type, referring source). It does not identify you personally.
• Advertising: Google AdSense may use cookies to serve relevant advertisements. AdSense is a third-party service governed by Google's privacy policy.
• Server logs: Our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically logs IP addresses and request metadata for security and abuse prevention.

What we don't collect

• We don't collect names, email addresses, or contact details unless you email us directly.
• We don't sell, rent, or share your data with anyone.
• We don't track you across other websites.

Cookies

Cookies set on this site come from Google AdSense and Google Analytics. You can control these via your browser's privacy settings or by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Third-party links

Most scholarship pages on this site link out to university and government websites for application. Once you leave Scholarship Compass, the destination site's privacy policy applies, not ours.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. Most users are senior secondary school students or adults applying for tertiary study.

Your rights

You may request access to or deletion of any personal data we hold by emailing hello@decisionlab.com.au. As we do not collect personal data through normal site use, this typically applies only to email correspondence.

Changes

We update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in practice or law. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
