About this scholarship
The scholarship was established in 2010 and is funded by a bequest from the estate of Zoe Ann Burnett, in memory of her grandfather the late Dr Alfred Midgley. The scholarship is also maintained by a gift from Dr Yoni Ryan, who through this scholarship, supports the life-changing power of education and a commitment to the pursuit of research in the field of literature. She hopes her gift will give postgraduate student starting out on their research careers the opportunity to flourish intellectually and personally through education at UQ.
Eligibility
You are eligible if you are a Higher Degree by Research candidate conducting research in the field of Australian Literature. You must be in receipt of a living stipend scholarship and apply prior to PR1, to be eligible for this top up.
