About this scholarship

Established in 2024 and maintained by an endowment originating from a bequest from Dorothy Marsden, a French Teacher at Ipswich Girls' Grammar School. Significant donations were also received from the family and friends of the late Emily John, former Honours student; from the French Teachers Branch of the Modern Language Teachers Association of Queensland; and further donors who acknowledged family, classmates, students, teachers and colleagues in French or simply donated to support future students.

Eligibility

You are eligible to apply if you: Are enrolled in a program at The University of Queensland with a declared French/French Advanced major Have completed at least four units of FREN coded courses Have identified an opportunity which commences within 12 months that will enhance your studies of French
