International Onshore Merit Scholarship

Eligibility

You're eligible if you: are an international student . have previously undertaken a qualification in Australia which has been used for admission to your relevant UQ program. have achieved a competitive score as determined by the University among the pool of offer holders for programs in their commencement semester. And you: have applied to study full-time at UQ commencing in 2026 in an eligible program. Check the scholarship terms and conditions (PDF, 170 KB) . have received an unconditional offer in an eligible program (or have satisfied all the conditions of a conditional offer) have satisfied the program entry and English language proficiency requirements. And you have not received: received another scholarship, tuition fee reduction or rebate from UQ. a full scholarship or sponsorship from another organisation (applicants with partial scholarships or sponsorships may be considered).
