About this scholarship
Selection will be based on: academic merit; thesis proposal; a letter from the potential supervisor language proficiency (where appropriate) Successful applicants will be those deemed display an outstanding level of ability to undertake research in the area of Traditional Chinese Studies. Strong preference will be given to candidates with evidence of advanced proficiency in Modern and Literary Chinese language and who will use Literary Chinese language sources in their research.
