Infrabuild Steel and Infrabuild Wire are part of the GFG Alliance international group of business and are Australia's premier manufacturers of Steel and Wire in Australia and New Zealand. Successful scholars will be invited to either Infrabuild Steel's Newcastle Rod Mill (3 scholarships in 2026) or Infrabuild Wire's Newcastle Wire Mill (1 scholarship in 2026). The Rod Mill has the capacity to produce 860,000 tonnes of steel rod coils to feed the wire, reinforcing and spring steel markets.
