This Scholarship was established in 2016 by donations from Jodi Palmer and Paul Starkoff.
Eligibility
You're eligible if you: can demonstrate financial disadvantage will be a Commencing Student in the year of award have completed secondary schooling in the year immediately prior to your first year at UQ, at a high school in the following metropolitan areas outside of Brisbane (including local government areas of Brisbane City, Redlands, Logan, Ipswich, and Moreton Bay Regional Council), Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth do not hold another scholarship that the Academic Registrar considers to be similar are enrolled full-time in the following programs: Bachelor of Agribusiness Bachelor of Agricultural Science Bachelor of Architecture Design Bachelor of Biomedical Science Bachelor of Commerce Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) Bachelor of Engineering Bachelor of Laws (Honours) Bachelor of Nursing Bachelor of Occupational Therapy Bachelor of Pharmacy Bachelor of Physiotherapy Bachelor of Psychological Science Bachelor of Speech Pathology Bachelor of Veterinary Technology Doctor of Medicine program. And are any of the below: an Australian citizen or permanent resident (including humanitarian visas) a New Zealand citizen.
