About this scholarship
Project 1: Analysis and Interpretation of Indigenous Cultural fire and Landscape Management Data Project 2: Cultural Burning Practices - Field Research and Data Generation You will be supported on campus and on Country and will receive training. You will have support by being part of a broader research team.
Eligibility
You're eligible if you're: an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person; studying full-time and onshore in Australia with proof of Aboriginality; nominated by an enrolling school or institute at UQ; and approved by industry partner/s. Successful applicants who meet eligibility will be granted an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Research Scholarship in addition to the top-up. Equity criteria: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants Disadvantaged and/or regional and remote areas Students who demonstrate leadership potential in their community You must be in receipt of or apply for and be awarded a living allowance scholarship of at least the Research Training Program rate to be eligible for this scholarship. You apply for this scholarship when you submit an application for an MPhil. You don't need to submit a separate scholarship application.
