About this scholarship

The scholarship was established in 2011 and maintained by the annual income from a bequest from the Estate of Sir James Foots AO, a former Chancellor of the University. Sir James Foots and his family previously supported the Sir James Foots Undergraduate Scholarships from 1999-2010.

Eligibility

You're eligible if you: are a domestic student can demonstrate financial hardship are enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) or Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/ Master of Engineering or dual engineering program are studying mining engineering or metallurgical engineering have completed between 12 - 27 units toward the approved program have achieved a cumulative GPA of at least 4 each semester do not hold another scholarship that the Associate Dean deems similar.
